Online classes
We started online classes because of COVID-19. The schools closed suddenly and we didn’t go to school. Then our teachers started online classes.

In the mornings our teachers give us work. Our teachers conduct the classes. They do their best to teach us. They prepare our study materials and send them to us.
Sometimes our teachers have Zoom classes. My mother helps me to do my online lessons. Our teachers send us beautiful video clips. We learn a lot from them.
But we like to go to school so we can see our friends and our teachers. Until then, we have to do our school work at home. We thank our teachers for making our lessons interesting.

The benefits of a regular walk
Walking is such an easy and great way to be healthy compared to other exercises. There are so many benefits of walking. For instance, walking improves the blood circulation in the body. So, there is less risk of heart disease, as your heart strengthens and there is also lower blood pressure, thus your heart is healthy.
A recent study found out that walking on a regular basis increases bone mass, which is bone marrow where cells are trained to fight which means you have greater immunity. Walking in your fifties and sixties means that you are less likely to die over the next eight years. Walking reduces stress and lightens your mood, as do other exercises. As all exercises, walking helps you lose weight. Just a light 30 minute walk burns up to 200 calories. You are making your muscles stronger too, while pumping your arms and legs. Other studies have shown that people of 50 – 75 years were able to sleep better than others.
So, as walking has many benefits, walk regularly!

Why learning History is important
Children start learning different things from the time they start schooling. Even when they are adults they learn new things from time to time. One of the subjects that we learn from the beginning is History. History isn’t just an important subject to learn but also a very interesting subject to study while doing research and projects at the same time.
Lots of children ask themselves a question of why History is important. There are lots and lots of benefits of learning a subject like History. You will get tremendous ideas which can use in the present or some other day in the future, to solve a bigger problem. That idea could be an idea that no one ever thought of.
Sri Lanka is one of the countries that hold a rich agricultural history. If we study that history and observe the secrets they used, we can use them in the present too. Sometimes the secret agro methods might be known only to us. In the present there are lots of deadly problems that are faced by people all over the world. In order to fight these problems, we need to understand by looking back in history. Then we can find very unique solutions for the problems.
History teaches us morals and values. Looking back at the people who have faced and overcome challenges will inspire us. The earlier society gave us warning signs and we could use them.
Overall history is great.
