My favourite movie

Movies are a type of entertainment. Some movies are scary and some are action movies. There are so many movies in Kollywood. Among them my favourite movie is ‘Bigil’. The director and author of ‘Bigil’ is Atlee Kumar. This is a film about a team of female football players. Thalapathy Vijay and Nayanthara act in this film.
This movie is a motivational story. The importance of this movie is the players are trying to achieve their goal from defeat to victory.
I think this movie shows a great chance for people with big dreams on how to achieve them.

March 1 is Zero Discrimination Day. What do you understand by Zero Discrimination?
Discrimination is the practice of treating a person or group, differently from the rest, often due to stereotypes held against them.
Discrimination comes in many forms such as racial, gender and class. In addition to these, there are also existing discrimination against faiths and beliefs.
In my opinion, ‘zero discrimination’ refers to the act of wiping our discrimination forever globally. Many now believe that the Chinese are infectious. White people in America believed that the Black people are criminals. Some people disrespect people of a lower class. All this discrimination should be eradicated forever. Many suffer under the chains of discrimination. The abilities of discriminated people are underrated. Even in Sri Lanka today, many frown upon women doing heavy manual labour.
But all this should change. We cannot let discrimination grow and limit people. We must not let discrimination limit people’s abilities to make a better world. Stereotypes should not hide what people truly are.
This is what Zero Discrimination Day stands for, a demolition of stereotypes and to highlight the need for a discrimination free world. Many victims of discrimination have fought against it in the recent past and they continue to do so. Malala Yousafzai stood up against the Taliban banning girls from going to school. Although not a victim, Harper Lee took to emphasizing racism in Alabama against Blacks in her book ‘To Kill a Mockingbird’.
And this is why there is Zero Discrimination Day.
