Five things we can do to stay healthy and safe
One thing we can do to stay healthy and safe is that we can eat healthy food and stay away from junk food. When we eat healthy food, our body becomes strong and safe from various illnesses but if we eat junk food our brain becomes lazy and our body becomes sick.
The next step to stay safe and healthy is to exercise. Exercising helps our body to keep fit and we are safe from falling sick.
When we watch too much TV it makes our eye-sight bad. If you watch a little TV it is safe. Drinking water is also a way to stay healthy. It helps your body to be energized and keeps you safe from becoming sick.
Home gardening is another way to be healthy and safe. It gives us poison-free fruits and vegetables. It also helps to give us clean air.
These are a few ways I know, of how to stay healthy and safe.

My favourite TV show - Garfield
‘Garfield’ is my favourite TV programme. It is telecast on Sirasa TV every day at 4.30 p.m. I don’t miss even one episode. My favourite character in this cartoon is ‘Garfield’. I like him because he is very funny. Sometimes he is troubling ‘Nerma’ because Nerma always thinks he is the most beautiful cat. The favourite foods that Garfield likes to eat are lasagna and pizza. These are the foods that I also like to eat.
I like the cartoon because the way that Garfield speaks is very funny and attractive. Odie is Jon and Liz’s dog. Squeak the mouse and his friends always empty the food in the refrigerator. Jon always cooks food for Garfield and it is very funny. Sometimes Garfield sends Nerma by mail into other countries. That is funny too. Garfield always tries to get rid of Odie and Nerma and sleeps for hours and hours. Liz always tells Jon to control Garfield’s food because he is overweight.
I like the chubby, cute cat Garfield and in the future I will also make a beautiful, funny cartoon like the cartoon Garfield.

Building a new city! The things I think I will need
I am building a new city, because the population is growing and also becoming more urbanized, in the hope of having a better life for their families. My Megacity will be eco-friendly, creating more jobs with higher salaries to save more money. To negate the problem of pollution, I will organize an efficient method for the prompt disposal of garbage, using the 3R’s – reduce, reuse and recycle, so that the city will always be as clean as a new pin. In essence it will be building ‘villages’ inside my Megacity. The citizens will utilize the compost fertilizer formed from decomposed organic waste, to be self-sufficient and grow their own food items.
I will also implement large-scale projects for the physical, mental and social development of my citizens. I will think of senior citizens and build an Elders Retirement Home to run on charity of our supporters. Next I will organize a modern travel system of comfortable and cheap conveyance to save time and reduce air and sound pollution by implementing an underground tube-train service like in Russia.
Working hours of supermarkets and night bazaars will be extended so that people need not rush after a hard days at the office; and jobless youth can work a few hours part-time in these markets.
Last but not least, I will think of building a model hospital, a public park with a swimming pool, a model English school with an attached public library and also a model technical school; thus giving preference to Health, Education and talents in Nanotechnology; which I had not previously even dared to think.
